The nominations for this category are:
Alec Baldwin, 30 Rock
Ty Burrell, Modern Family
Louis CK, Louie
Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory
Eric Stonestreet, Modern Family

It goes to the unshakably smooth, honey-voiced Alec Baldwin, who celebrates the end of his 30 Rock run (and eight SAG wins) on a high note. A very well deserved win, but could we also nominate whatever's going on with his hair for a supporting role in tonight's show?

It is of course the 12-pound Actor, the heaviest of all the trophies, handed out to winners of the annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (are you feeling the "thank you speech" fatigue yet?). Unlike other awards, which are typically judged by greying critics and we the people, SAG winners are chosen exclusively by fellow union members. With that in mind, get ready for some serious actor-on-actor action as we recap the best and worst moments of the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards...topThe biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)The biggest moments from the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting RoleThis was an almost certain lock down for Anne Hathaway, whose competition in the category was Sally Field, Helen Hunt, Nicole Kidman and Maggie Smith. Sadly, Amy didn't take the prize as it went to her Golden Globes co-host (and equally talented funny woman) Tina Fey, which is just as good for us. Fey dedicated her Actor to Poehler, who she says she's known Amy since she "was pregnant with Lena Dunham." Nice comeback to Dunham's snarky, ageist acceptance speech at earlier this month at the Globes there (in which she thanked the duo for "getting her through Middle School"). Well played Tina, well played.topOutstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series(©Mark Davis, Getty Images)Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy SeriesThe nominees for this category are:30 RockThe Big Bang TheoryGleeModern FamilyNurse JackieThe OfficeLet's face it, there was only one comedy that was going to win this and it was the family and thespian favourite, Modern Family. We're pushing blame on Jennifer Lawrence at this point, given that she's been suffering with pneumonia for the past few weeks and yet, still attended the Globes. Maybe it's part of her big master plan to take out all the competition and win every award, including best actor and best ensemble cast.topOutstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries(©Adrees Latif, Reuters)Best synopsis of a movie we really want to seeAnne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman shared the stage to introduce the upcoming lifetime achievement award and plug their movie Les Mis, which, unless you've been living in Jean Valjean exile, they're both in. During their brief speech, the pair posed an alternative plot/synopsis for their happy-go-lucky film, which goes a little something like this:"Wolverine is being chased by Gladiator. Catwoman gets knocked up, and for some ungodly reason goes to see Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter, and Borat. Then Wolverine agrees to raise Catwoman's baby. And she grows up to star in Mamma Mia!" With that, here are the SAG nominees for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role:Jessica Chastain, Zero Dark ThirtyMarion Cotillard, Rust and BoneJennifer Lawrence, Silver Linings PlaybookHelen Mirren, HitchcockNaomi Watts, The ImpossibleAt 22 years of age, she's the category's youngest ever winner, but that doesn't faze Jennifer Lawrence who makes her way to the stage to collect the Actor. The only thing more unbelievable than this win is the Dior couture mishap as she tears her dress while walking up the stage steps. Oh, and something else equally unbelievable? She scored her SAG card after appearing in a promo for MTV's My Super Sweet 16. Still, Lincoln has one of the biggest, true-to-form ensembles, helmed by the imitable Day-Lewis who has the luck of the Irish (and English) with him tonight. Unfortunately it seems as though his luck has just run out as Argo, riding on a Golden Globe high, nabs the Actor from Lincoln's cold-dead hands.
