Whitney Houston's last film Sparkle is set to be released this summer, less than a year after the singer's tragic death. In what was set to be her comeback film, Houston plays a mother of three competitive sisters who form a musical group, a remake of the 1976 film inspired by the Supremes.
With a star-studded cast, including Jordin Sparks and Cee Lo Green, Houston was heavily involved within the making of the film, acting as executive producer and also recording several songs for the soundtrack. A personal favourite of Houston's, this film marks the singer's final recorded work.
